Application area

This European Standard specifies a test method for determining the slip resistance of mortars and adhesives on a vertical wall. This European Standard applies to all mortars and adhesives for gluing ceramic tiles to walls, for external and internal use. This European Standard does not contain requirements or recommendations for bonding ceramic tiles. NOTE Mortars and adhesives for ceramic tiles can also be used for gluing other types of tiles (natural stone, concrete blocks, etc.), if the properties of these materials are not deteriorated by the solutions and adhesives.
