Many properties of mortars and adhesives for facing tiles and slabs are mainly determined by the type of binder used. Depending on the chemical properties of the binders, adhesives and mortars for tiles and slabs are divided into different types. Different types have different characteristics in terms of their consumer properties and performance after hardening.
This standard specifies the characteristics of mortars and adhesives for ceramic tiles (cement-based mortars, dispersion adhesives and reactive resin adhesives).
