A method of laying ceramic tiles on a flat vertical or horizontal surface using mortar or adhesive. According to EN 12004.
Note Applying the mortar or adhesive is usually done with a trowel in one continuous layer, followed by a notched trowel to achieve the required thickness and flatness.
