How do we make ceramic tiles?
Tiles produced by Nephrit-Keramika OJSC are manufactured using European technology.
Products are produced on automated conveyor lines supplied by Italian manufacturers. Conveyor lines are equipped with the most modern European equipment. Natural materials are used to prepare the tile base.
In the process of preparing the mass, all materials are carefully dosed and crushed in an aqueous environment. The resulting raw material mixture is called slip. The slip is cleaned and then fed into the atomizer to produce press powder. Glazed ceramic tiles are produced by semi-dry pressing followed by drying, glazing and firing. Frits and glazes produced in Spain are used to glaze the tiles. The company produces tiles of various sizes, coated with white and colored glazes, with a smooth and embossed front surface, shiny and matte in texture.
Modern decoration methods are used. With the introduction of digital printing, image quality has increased, the decoration of relief surfaces has improved, and it has become possible to decorate the edge of a product. In terms of their size, appearance, physical and mechanical properties, glazed ceramic tiles comply with the requirements of GOST 6141-91, GOST 6787-2001 and the requirements of European standards.JSC "Nephrit-Ceramics"
