Just a few years ago, the domestic ceramic tile market featured products manufactured mostly abroad. But today this situation has changed significantly. Russian ceramic tiles and ceramic granite are confidently winning the favor of consumers. Enterprises and factories producing ceramics have reached a competitive level and not only provide regional markets, but also actively export their products abroad. The Northwestern Federal District is one of the leaders in ceramic production. The Northwestern Federal District is home to many factories producing facing bricks, porcelain stoneware, wall and floor tiles.

Quartz

The Quartz plant was founded in 1990 on the basis of workshop No. 1 of the Leningrad Ceramics Plant (LZKI), a manufacturing giant in the city of Nikolskoye. In 2002, a new management structure was created at the enterprise, the reconstruction of the production complex was completed: the old line for the production of facing tiles was completely dismantled and modern technological equipment from the Italian company SACMI, a world leader in the production of equipment for the production of ceramic tiles, was installed.
