In 1986, the Ceresit brand, the leader in the heat and waterproofing market in those years, was acquired by Henkel. As a result, Henkel expanded its portfolio of construction chemicals and strengthened its position in Eastern Europe, while also continuing its expansion into Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Today, as one of its main brands, Ceresit is invariably associated with outstanding quality. Millions of craftsmen, architects, construction companies, as well as private clients trust Ceresit. An important part of Henkel's development and production of materials for repair and construction is occupied by building mixtures and adhesives under the CERESIT and THOMSIT brands. Whether it's a major construction project or a small bathroom renovation, optimizing the energy efficiency of a building or constructing a cluster of Olympic facilities, our customers can count on a range of specialized products. Thanks to the high quality of its products, Ceresit has become not only one of the leaders in this market, but has also earned universal recognition, having received the “Mark No. 1” consumer recognition award for 3 years in a row.
