Fryanovsky Ceramic Plant (FKZ) is one of four production enterprises for the production of wall and floor ceramic tiles owned by Cersanit SA FKZ is one of the most modern ceramic production facilities in Russia, its capacity is about 8.5 million m2 per year. They also produce decorative glass elements, which is unique for the Russian ceramics industry. The plant is located in the village of Fryanovo, Shchelkovsky district, 70 km from Moscow and is a city-forming enterprise.

Many plant employees have been working at FKZ almost from the first day (and there are more than 50 of them!). They remember very well the time when in 2001, on the site of a destroyed spinning and worsted factory, a production enterprise was organized, which embodied a fundamentally new approach to the production of ceramic tiles in Russia. The idea was great: to produce products using the most modern Italian equipment (SACMI), capable of competing with Western analogues. Especially if we take into account the actively growing demand for finishing materials on the Russian market. However, the task was not easy! The best Russian and Western specialists were brought in to work on the project. How much work, effort, and enthusiasm was required from those people who stood at the origins of the creation of the plant. A real team of professionals gathered, among whom was the chief technologist Ekaterina Villenovna Kalinovskaya, who now heads the FKZ.

In August 2001, the first prototypes rolled off the assembly line, and on December 15, a new modern plant was launched with a full technological cycle for the production of ceramic tiles, allowing the use of the entire range of modern decorative coatings in the artistic design of products. A year later, a line for the production of ceramic floor tiles was launched, then a second line of facing tiles... Today, FKZ operates 4 lines of wall tiles and 2 lines of floor tiles, a workshop for decorative and glass elements, which in total produces more than 40 collections of original designs, design The plant's capacity is 8.5 million m2 per year.

Effective work is impossible without a team of professionals, so the company’s employees are our main asset and the key to success. The plant management takes care to unlock the potential of each employee and creates all conditions for their personal and professional growth. The results are obvious: today, more than half of the plant’s employees have been working there for more than 5 years, and 10% have been working there since the founding of the enterprise.
