COVERFLEX is a cement-based waterproofing elastic two-component composition: component A – a powder mixture based on cement, selected inert fillers and special chemical additives, packed in a paper bag; component B is an aqueous emulsion of acrylic polymers, in a plastic canister. When mixing the two components, a plastic solution is obtained, which is applied to horizontal and vertical surfaces with a brush, roller or smooth spatula. Consumption: 1.6 kg/m2 per 1 mm.
Product advantages:
- The coefficient of relative elongation of the waterproofing coating is about 20%;
- Maintains elasticity even at low temperatures from - 30 degrees Celsius;
- Can be used as an elastic waterproofing putty to treat shrinkage cracks;
- Fills small cracks and cavities on the surface due to high fluidity;
- Does not require reinforcement of the waterproofing layer with polymer fiberglass reinforcement mesh.

The technical data sheet for Coverflex waterproofing says that the consumption is 1.6 kg/m2 for each mm of thickness. Since the waterproofing is two-component (component A powder 20 kg, component B liquid 10 kg), the question arises how to calculate the consumption of Coverflex waterproofing ? The correct approach should be this: consumption is calculated based on the dry component . In our case, component A powder is 20 kg. With a layer thickness of 1 mm, a surface of 12.5 m2 can be treated.
