The Republic of Tatarstan is part of the Volga Federal District. It borders with the Kirov, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Orenburg regions, Bashkortostan, Mari El, the Udmurt Republic, and Chuvashia. Sales of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, paving and facing bricks are traditionally high here.
